Equipped with floral wallpaper, elegant furniture, a romantic garden landscape, and an overwhelming feeling of history and comfort, The Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden was a perfect location for Greta and Dan's September wedding. A home with years of love and care became a great host for the unity of this beautiful couple who have put the same love and care into each other. The couple said their vows surrounded by a romantic collection of lush green foliage and loved ones. After the ceremony they moved to The Washington Club in Washington, CT for their reception to continue celebrating their love. Kailee & Chet started their love story in the second grade. Ask them who made the first move and you'll hear stories of them chasing each other around the playground. Although their story started while they were young, they didn't start dating until their twenties. Because they grew up together they didn't exactly have a formal first date, they were friends for years of their lives and one day it just clicked that they belonged together. After growing up together and being in each others lives for years Chet decided that he couldn't live without Kailee. Their proposal was one for the books. It took place at a Kentucky Derby party. Chet got in the back of the line of a hat parade and when he got to her he stopped the entire parade to propose in front of their friends and family. Kailee said yes and the rest is history. All of the vendors came together and made the day unforgettable for the two of them. The Great River Golf Club created a dream setting for their elegant ceremony and reception. From their epically beautiful first look to their group choreography on the dance floor, Kailee and Chet look back on their big day and say they wouldn't change a thing. They continue to ground each other and make each other laugh daily.

Sarah & Ed Oliva exchanged their vows on October 12th, a gorgeous fall day for a wedding in Hartford, CT. Sarah & Ed met on the dating site "OkCupid". They got together for their first date and sparks and butterflies flew. They left after talking for hours, cheeks sore from smiling and both knew that they needed a second date. Flash forward a number of dates and time spent together to the proposal. Ed surprised Sarah at her family home with their dog Cooper wearing a sign reading "will you marry me" in front of the Christmas tree. Full of excitement to start their future together the planning began. The lovely couple decided that The Pond House Cafe and Elizabeth Park were going to set the stage for their beautiful union. Their elegant ceremony took place outside on the deck overlooking the pond and the fall foliage. Surrounded by their loved ones Sarah and Ed joined hands and vowed to spend the rest of their lives together. After sharing their first kiss the guests moved inside the cafe for the reception. The venues high wooden ceilings are lit with dreamy twinkling lights and the decor fit the fall floral theme with perfection. The tables were set with linen and fall floral arrangements were accompanied by a bottle of personalized olive oil that read "Oliva our love" at each of the guests seats. Sarah and Ed spent months getting dance lessons from The Hartford Ballroom to do a special choreographed dance for their family and friends. After enjoying a special day surrounded by loved ones they began their first night together as newlyweds. They both continue to grow and learn from each other daily and have all of the lovely photo and video footage from their big day to look back on years to come.

June 29 couldn't have been a more perfect day to capture the everlasting union of a newly reunited couple, Taylor & Dean. Shortly after they graduated college together where they met, Dean joined the Navy and found out he was going to be stationed in Guam within the year. The wedding was made even more special because they were long distance for two years through all of the wedding planning and reunited only a week before their big day. We got to capture not only their romantic summer wedding but also their homecoming all in one. Full of nerves and excitement, Taylor took special care to pick all of their vendors as she was doing it all on her own. Her goal was to support small local companies and entrepreneurs as much as she could. Their ceremony was held in the beautiful South Church in Hartford, CT where you can be easily mesmerized by the elegant cathedral ceilings and interiors that are flooded with natural light. Between the ceremony and reception they stopped at Bushnell Park in Hartford, CT to capture some beautiful private moments of the wedding party. The bride and groom were photographed in front of the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch, a notable memorial honoring those who protect and serve the country like Dean. Their reception was held at Maneeley's in South Windsor, CT. A gorgeous wood filled banquet hall with dreamy string lighting, a perfect place to host their rustic themed reception white they danced and celebrated their love into the night. Now that they are newlyweds, Taylor has moved out to Guam to be with Dean and start their lives together. Looking back on their wedding, Taylor says she wouldn't change a single thing about the people she choose to help them create these treasured memories of their big day.

Even though it rained, nothing could dampen the spirits of this lovely wedding at Merlot on the Water! After all, it is good luck! Merlot on the Water is located in the center of the historic town of Broad Brook and you guessed it, its right on the Broad Brook Pond! In addition to the beautiful waterfront view from an outdoor terrace, this venue offers lush gardens and a restored ballroom that can hold up to 150 guests, which this couple definitely took advantage of!
We are so grateful to have been able to capture the joy and excitement of this special day. Our lovely couple, Concetta and Brian, have practically known each other their entire lives, having met each other in elementary school. These lifelong friends got engaged a year and a half ago and have been together for ten years! How adorable is that?! Concetta and Brian, we could tell right away how important you are to each other, as well as how important your friends and family are to you both. We had the privilege of photographing this lovely couple's wedding at the Tunxis Country Club in Farmington, CT. Rustic yet elegant, the Tunxis Country Club is the perfect venue for an outdoor summer wedding! How would you like your wedding to have a backdrop of towering majestic pines? I know I would. Plus, there is a huge outdoor pavilion so you can still have the outdoor wedding you've always dreamed of without having to get rained on!
Aside from the beautiful location, flowers, and tasty looking cake (yummm!), by far my favorite thing about this wedding is this couple's adorable story. Frankie and Ryan met each other their freshman year of highschool and have been together ever since! How sweet is that?They even went to the same college! Obviously, nothing can get between these two and after being together for eleven years, they tied the knot last month! Both are graduates from the University of Connecticut, Frankie currently working as an investment analyst and Ryan as a civil engineer.

We feel so lucky to have been able to capture the magic of this whimsical, Disney-inspired wedding at Wickham Park: English Garden! We enjoyed every second of shooting this beautiful wedding, simply because it was just so much fun!
